As June approaches, the national College Entrance Examination is just around the corner. To effectively purify urban road traffic order, and to create a good environment for candidates to prepare and take the exams, the Beijing Public Security Traffic Administration has, in line with the overall deployment of the “Spring and Summer Safe Actions,” and combined with the characteristics of summer traffic violations, closely focused on key time nodes for traffic security during the College Entrance Examination and has fully launched a special rectification campaign against “street racing and street bombing.”

The campaign adheres to the principles of “zero tolerance, full coverage, and strict law enforcement,” and comprehensively tackles prominent traffic disorder such as illegal vehicle modifications and street racing and street bombing, while strictly investigating and handling various traffic violations that disturb residents and dangerous driving behaviors.

Recently, in some areas of Beijing, nighttime “street bombing” disturbances involving motor vehicles and motorcycles have occurred frequently on certain roads. Some drivers illegally modify exhaust pipes, remove mufflers, and deliberately create high-decibel noise, which seriously disrupts residents’ rest and candidates’ exam preparation; public complaints have been strong.
