Lately, I've been a bit annoyed by "On-chain clearly shows it, why isn't it showing on my side yet"… To put it simply, what you see on the chain is often a version "translated" by nodes/RPCs/indexers. They are slow to sync, cache for a while, or even switch providers, resulting in different outcomes. This can make you think you've seen the truth, but in reality, it's just a delay from a certain perspective.
Especially now, with L2s arguing every day about TPS, fees, and subsidies, each data dashboard looks better than the last, but few people pay attention to the underlying system of "who is feeding the data and how fast." Anyway, I've gotten used to this: before and after key operations, I check multiple RPCs and on-chain explorers, cross-reference them, and clearly record the source of my positions to avoid digging a hole behind my returns that I might end up filling myself. I don't need to be understood, I just want to avoid stepping on mines. That's how I’ll do it for now.
