Last night, I saw a bunch of discussions about "parallel/sharding taking off" again, the group was pretty lively, but I actually felt more anxious... To be honest, no matter how fast the chain is, you have to think it through first: if I put my assets in and something really happens, how do I withdraw? Is the bridge multi-signature, who holds the permissions, have there been any past failures, these things feel more reassuring than just TPS numbers.

There was one time I didn’t understand something and still crossed over, only to find on the other side that the liquidity was ridiculously thin, and to withdraw back I had to go through the bridge again, stuck in that half-hour in the middle with sweaty palms. Later, I set a rule for myself: if I don’t understand it, don’t move first, better to miss out than gamble with luck.

Oh, and recently those on-chain data tools and tagging systems have been criticized for lagging or misleading, I also resonate a bit... too many people dare to rush when a tag says "safe." Anyway, I’m now focusing on exit strategies: can I go back the same way, are there backup channels, what’s the worst-case scenario I can accept, putting other narratives aside for now. That’s it for now.
