Meta and other social media companies will pay $27 million to settle a lawsuit filed by a school district in Kentucky.

Golden Finance reports that on May 30, it was reported that social media companies such as Meta, Snap, and YouTube will collectively pay about $27 million to settle a social media addiction lawsuit filed by the Bresee*t County school district in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Some of these companies announced earlier this month that they had reached an agreement with the plaintiffs, but did not disclose the specific settlement amounts. (Sina Finance)
