On May 31, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced through national media that they shot down a U.S. MQ-1 drone earlier today in Iranian airspace.
The IRGC stated that the drone was attempting hostile actions, was detected by the air defense system, and was destroyed.
