According to The Times of India, there was an offline USDT trading robbery case in Chandigarh, India. Local police stated that five suspects impersonated USDT traders via WhatsApp and arranged a transaction with a businessman running a computer accessories business for about 4 million rupees (approximately $48k). The victim, carrying 1.75 million rupees in cash (about $21k), was assaulted and robbed after going to the Sector-42 lake area parking lot. The police have currently arrested one person and recovered 500k rupees, with the remaining suspects still at large.
