The FBI reported the largest cryptocurrency seizure in U.S. history
As part of an international operation against fraudulent call centers in Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, and the UAE, authorities seized crypto assets worth over $8 billion and detained about 300 suspects.
The operation also helped free nearly 2,000 people who were forced to work in scam schemes.
Additionally, more than 7,000 Starlink terminals in Myanmar were disconnected, presumably used for scam operations.
This is the largest confiscation of cryptocurrency in the history of the U.S. government.
