Gold Financial reports that on May 31, a recording of the ship's radio public channel provided by the crew of a stranded merchant ship near the Strait of Hormuz shows that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and the U.S. military aircraft respectively issued warnings to the relevant ships on the 30th. The radio recording shows that on the evening of the 30th, the IRGC Navy issued stern warnings to ships in the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea regions, stating that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and only ships with permission from the IRGC Navy and following routes designated by Iran are allowed to pass. Any violations of these regulations will seriously endanger maritime safety. The IRGC Navy also said that any interference by the U.S. Navy in the management of the Strait of Hormuz or actions that disrupt navigation order will be met with severe military countermeasures.
