These past two days, airdrops have started getting really tempting again. I also feel an itch to go interact, but once I think about “anti-redirection,” I get a bit more clear-headed: the more hands you reach out with via the protocol, the more likely you end up getting tangled up in your own wallet… In any case, my approach right now is: you can interact, but don’t treat “doing tasks” as your main job. The denser the on-chain traces you leave, the more it looks like you’re raising your hand and saying, “Come snatch me.”

And lately, that staking/token unlock calendar has been getting spam-refreshed every day, and the anxiety about sell pressure makes people more prone to FOMO too—so I’m even less inclined to charge in hard. Last night, I turned off the airdrop push notifications and switched to checking only once a week. I also cleared up my authorizations… If I move slower, so be it—at least I won’t end up paying “tuition” in both gas fees and emotions just because I got too excited.
