Circle Freezes Zama cUSDC Contract, Locking $12.6M in USDC

Circle blacklisted Zama's cUSDC smart-contract address on Friday, locking roughly $12.6 million of USDC. ZachXBT pegged the trapped balance at 12,606,386.10 USDC and said the block landed at 01:08 UTC on May 30. A court order asked Circle to freeze the wrapper itself rather than the depositor. Zama paused its cUSDC, cUSDT, and cWETH contracts pending review.
