These days, the group has started looping those images again—“Stablecoin Regulation,” “Reserve Audits,” and “De-peg is coming!”—and it makes me want to laugh and also get a little mad: I laugh because the same screenshot has been circulating for three years, and I’m mad because people’s emotions move faster than on-chain data.

As for me, when I look at things like stablecoin supply and ETF inflows right now, I just treat them as “barometers,” not as something that means “money is coming in = it’ll pump immediately.” Correlation is way too good at misleading people. Plain and simple, whether money is flowing in off-chain, whether people are actually buying after it comes in, and whether that buying can push prices are three different matters.
Anyway, I set a few on-chain alerts. If anything changes abnormally, I’ll wake up for a bit; if nothing happens, I’ll keep sleeping—if I miss it, then so be it.
