On the morning of May 30 local time, Munich Airport in Germany temporarily suspended operations due to a suspected drone sighting, then resumed normal operations about an hour later. A spokesperson for the German Federal Police confirmed that two pilots reported seeing a suspicious aircraft that day, and the situation may have involved a drone. For safety reasons, after consulting with the aviation control authorities, the security department closed two airport runways at around 9:00 a.m. on the same day, suspending all flight takeoffs and landings. The airport said that immediately after the incident, the relevant authorities carried out verification checks and deployed police helicopters to search. After inspection, no suspicious targets were found, and the airport lifted the restrictions at around 10:05 a.m. local time, resuming flight operations. An airport spokesperson said that the German Federal Police believe the incident poses no real security threat. (Sina Finance)
