Today, SMM #1 lead ingot prices rose by 75 yuan/ton; smelters’ ex-works selling prices are finding it hard to keep up with the increase.

A certain recycled lead smelter in East China stated that today the price of #1 lead ingots rose by 75 yuan/ton.
The smelter originally planned to increase prices by 50 yuan/ton, but the actual transaction increase narrowed to 30 yuan/ton, with ex-factory prices reported at 16,505 yuan/ton.
Downstream purchasing interest was tepid, with only a small amount of shipments. (SMM)
