I recently looked at a protocol upgrade proposal and it feels a bit like checking a restaurant’s hygiene rating… only after the GitHub submission history, the audit reports, and the multi-signature upgrade are all in place do I feel confident enough to take a couple more bites. If a beginner wants to read “credibility,” I usually start with GitHub: is someone gradually fixing small issues over the long term, or did they suddenly go all-in and change the core logic all at once? Then I review the audit: don’t just look at “passed”—focus on whether any leftover issues have been clearly handled. Finally, I keep an eye on the multi-signature: are the signers distributed, is there any delay/timelock—don’t upgrade with a single click and “go to the moon” (or disaster).
Recently, everyone has been putting RWA, Treasury bond yields, and on-chain yield products together to compare, but I care more about “who can change the rules behind the returns.” Just now, I turned off the auto-follow switch—let me understand the proposal and permission structure first. Anyway, making a little less profit is better than not sleeping at night.
