Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 30th, according to on-chain analyst Ai Yi, during tonight's League of Legends professional match, BLG unexpectedly lost to WE with a score of 1:3, becoming the focus of attention in the esports community and prediction markets that day.

Before the match, decentralized prediction platform Polymarket data showed that BLG's chance of winning once reached 95.5%, and the market generally believed they would easily win the game. However, the final result deviated significantly from market expectations, with WE successfully pulling off an upset victory.

Affected by the match outcome, Polymarket user TrevorPlovdivBulgariaForHisBirthday continued betting on BLG's victory, incurring a total loss of approximately $157.5k.

This incident once again reflects that prediction markets, even when facing high-probability events, still carry significant outcome uncertainty. For participants, a high win rate expectation does not guarantee the result, and "black swan" events in popular matches can still lead to substantial losses.
