Today, I checked on-chain data again and was amused by myself: clearly it's "on-chain," but the moment you see it, it might already be overnight data. Node synchronization can be fast or slow, RPCs can glitch (especially when there are many people), and the indexer is more like doing bookkeeping in the background: it has to first organize a bunch of transactions, import them into the database, and then give you a "neatly arranged" result. So if you suddenly see a huge transfer from a certain address, don't rush to assume a whale is dumping; it might just be that your data is delayed or the indexer has just caught up with historical data.

Recently, everyone has been talking about staking unlocks, token unlock calendars, and the anxiety over sell pressure. I also get curious and check, but honestly: the fact that you see "unlock has occurred" doesn't mean the market has already digested it, nor does it mean that the inflows and outflows you see at this second are real-time. I now just treat it like watching a pixelated mini-drama, switching between a few RPCs for comparison, then looking at the raw records on the on-chain explorer... for now, that's it.
