CryptoWorld News reports that an Indian senior defense official stated that the agreement for India to sell "BrahMos" cruise missiles to Vietnam has been finalized.

A few weeks ago, the leaders of both countries promised to strengthen economic ties.
Indian Defense Minister Singh said on Saturday at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore that New Delhi has entered the final stages with Indonesia and Vietnam regarding the sale of these missiles.
"As for Vietnam, as far as I know, the agreement has been signed, and it may not have been publicly announced yet," he said, "but the agreement has indeed been signed."
The BrahMos missile is jointly developed by India and Russia, with a range of at least 380 kilometers.
