In the past couple of days, I've seen discussions in the group about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and those "de-pegging" charts bouncing back and forth. Honestly, seeing too much of it makes me a bit anxious... When emotions run high, it's easy to make reckless moves. Anyway, I now prefer to treat the mainnet as a "settlement layer": only move large amounts or give important permissions / transfer to cold wallets on the mainnet. For small transactions and frequent swaps, I stay on L2, saving on gas and making the experience smoother. Just don't open permissions too broadly just to save trouble; I've learned my lesson from the pitfalls of cross-chain and authorization. Tonight, I plan to review the permissions of a few frequently used addresses and leave some gas on the mainnet for emergencies. That's the plan for now.
