These past two days, someone keeps using ETF fund flows and U.S. stock risk appetite to explain every rise and fall. I watch, and my eyes start to ache, and my neck turns stiff... Honestly, once you end up staring at the screen all the way to the end, you’re more likely to forget the more basic things: that kind of “unlimited allowance/authorization” in contracts/DeFi that isn’t revoked is pretty much the same as sleeping with the door left open.
I used to be lazy too—just tap “confirm” once to save effort, relying on the odds that nothing would go wrong. Later, when I think about it, how the market interprets things is the market’s business; the only two things I can control are: don’t chase, and revoke permissions. Now I’m in the habit of revoking permissions right after I finish an action—like brushing my teeth or locking the door. Not romantic, but very steady. For now, that’s it. I’m going to lie down for a bit and let my eyes ease up.
