The current situation of single men and women:

One lifetime, one person
One pot, one bowl, one soul
One person, one bed, one house
It’s like cabbage rotting on the ground, while pigs starve to death in the pigpen.
Men always want to meet, women always want to chat.
Men think there’s no point in seeing each other without even exchanging faces; women think there’s no point in chatting without ever talking—so what’s there to meet for?
Men are thinking, “You’ll be my woman—then I’ll treat you well.” Women are thinking, “You won’t treat me well; how could I be your woman?”
Women resent that men are poor; men resent that women are old. Women are afraid of being deceived for “love,” and men are afraid of being deceived for “money.”
If a woman doesn’t pay a cent, then I won’t come out; if a man doesn’t come out, then I won’t spend a cent on you.
Both sides have a shared anti-scam mindset—they’re both afraid of being shortchanged. And the result is: each keeps to their own remaining single life.
