I just got the itch again to chase after it, and that voice in my head sounds so familiar: If I don’t buy now, I’ll miss out. Then I paused and asked myself: Did I really see any new information, or am I just being pushed along by the K-line and group chat emotions? Honestly, most of the time I don’t have any new insights, only a fear of falling behind.

Lately, everyone’s been watching large on-chain transfers and the fluctuations of hot and cold wallets on exchanges as “smart money,” and I do too, but the more I look, the more it feels like taking fragments as a map: you don’t know if the other side is repositioning, market-making, or internal transfers, yet you’ve already handed over your position… It’s not worth it.

Next time I want to chase a rally, I plan to write a line first: “Why do I deserve to add to my position now?” If I can’t come up with it, I’ll treat it as an emotional order and not place it; do you have any ways to pull your hand away from the buy button?
