The Pakistani capital Islamabad began enforcing a heavy vehicle ban into the city at dawn, with increased control at long-distance bus stations and shortened operations for the metro and buses. This move enhances mutual trust through absolute physical security, demonstrating to Washington and Tehran that the negotiation table is also a safe haven for information and security.
