CryptoWorld.com news reports that former NBA player Tristan Thompson has sued the UK’s World Mobile Group, alleging that the company prematurely terminated its $2 million WMTX token brand ambassador agreement and, after the termination, continued to use his name, likeness, and image without authorization. Thompson says that he was originally set to receive up to $1 million worth of WMTX tokens each year over a two-year period and to promote the token. World Mobile later terminated the agreement, citing its failure to return the over-issued tokens and the sale of WMTX tokens. The related allegations are still pending court review.

Thompson probably didn't expect that the crypto world would be even more challenging than the NBA.

WMTX issued more tokens than intended and now needs to recover them; both sides are doing the accounting.

Terminating early and still using their portrait, looks bad.
