Wu Shuo learned that the U.S. State Department announced the designation of Brazilian criminal organizations Comando Vermelho (CV) and Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) as Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT), and plans to list both as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) starting June 5. The two organizations have been accused of using digital currencies for money laundering, with PCC reportedly using Bitcoin mining as a cover for laundering money.
