Deep Tide TechFlow News, on May 30, reported by Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter, says that a ballistic missile launched by Iran struck Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The report states that the missile was successfully intercepted by Kuwait’s air defense system during flight, but debris from the missile fell within the base area, causing minor injuries to several U.S. military personnel and severely damaging two MQ-9 “Reaper” drones.

As of now, the U.S. Department of Defense and Kuwaiti officials have not released any further details about the incident. After this event, security conditions in the Middle East have again drawn market attention.
