Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 30 — Well-known investor Serenity stated that, against the backdrop of continuous expansion in AI photonics and data center infrastructure, AAOI, SIVE, FOCI, and Shunsin Technology are currently the most promising high-risk, high-reward investment targets, and expressed optimism about the future development prospects of the silicon photonics and advanced packaging industry chain.

Main text: Investor Serenity shared his latest views on the AI photonics industry chain on social media, stating that with the growth of AI computing power demand and data center infrastructure upgrades, companies related to optical communication and silicon photonics are coming into new development opportunities.

Among them, Serenity holds a positive attitude towards optical module manufacturer AAOI, believing that the company is benefiting from the expansion of optical module and laser diode capacity in the United States. He estimates that AAOI’s monthly revenue could increase to approximately $471 million by 2027, and the relevant market size may further grow rapidly in 2028.

Regarding SIVE, Serenity said that the company's overall revenue pipeline has grown about 77% compared to historical levels, with an expected revenue scale of about $799 million. Among them, photonics business will become the main growth engine, and the gross profit margin of related businesses is expected to reach about 60%.

At the supply chain level, Serenity pointed out that FOCI is an important partner of NVIDIA and TSMC in the fiber array unit (FAU) field, and is also one of the key supply links in the COUPE architecture. He believes that the current market capitalization of about $2.8 billion does not fully reflect the company's position in the industry chain.

In addition, although Shunsin Technology has relatively limited market attention, it undertakes a large amount of business in co-packaged optics (CPO) and photonics-related packaging testing fields, and continues to receive customer orders including NVIDIA. Serenity believes that, since some projects are executed through subsidiaries, the market has not fully accounted for its potential growth value.

Apart from the above companies, Serenity also considers XFAB as a potential beneficiary, believing it could benefit from the development of the silicon photonics industry supported by future European semiconductor policies. At the same time, he is optimistic about silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) wafer foundry companies, expecting that related manufacturers will benefit from NVIDIA’s push for data center 800V DC power architecture upgrade trends.
