Gate.io is a global cryptocurrency exchange and leverage trading platform for high-risk traders. The platform is no longer available in the United States. However, in 2022, the company announced plans to reintroduce itself to U.S.-based investors with a new trading platform called Gate US. There is no official launch date yet.
Business Insider’s personal finance team compared Gate.io with the top cryptocurrency exchanges and found that the platform is less transparent and less accessible for U.S.-based investors.
