The scariest part about AI is how normal it all feels.

Nobody wakes up and decides to stop thinking for themselves. It happens slowly, one shortcut at a time.
A caption because you’re tired. An email because it’s faster. A hook because your own idea feels average. A full post because the blank page feels annoying.
At first, it feels like leverage, then everyone starts sounding strangely polished in the same way. The weirdness disappears. The rough edges disappear. The lived experience disappears. Every opinion starts to feel clean, safe and pre-approved.
People will call it productivity and somewhat it is, but somewhere in all that convenience, a lot of people are quietly training themselves to stop wrestling with their own thoughts.
That’s the part that worries me... machines keep getting better at thinking and us humans are getting more comfortable avoiding it.
