CoinWorld news reports that the open-source AI assistant project OpenClaw has released version v2026.5.27, with built-in general vector embedding and an integrated video generation service. The new version supports OpenAI-compatible vector embedding services for both local and hosted endpoints, and has deprecated the original plugin-compatible registration mode. It also integrates the Pixverse video generation service, supporting API region selection and external plugin encapsulation, strengthening AI video creation capabilities. In addition, the new version implements more stringent security isolation to prevent malicious prompt injection, and blocks command wrappers with side effects as well as unsafe Node runtime environment variable overrides. To prevent unauthorized exposure of the Tailscale network, approval permissions for node and device roles have been consolidated under the administrator.
