Putin said that Russia's strikes on the Kyiv region are a response to Ukrainian attacks on the Luhansk region, and Russian forces are launching full-scale offensives in the area of the special military operation. Putin also stated that European politicians' claims about preparing to fight Russia are "nonsense," and Russia has neither threatened European countries in the past nor now, but any place that poses a direct military threat to Russia will be considered a "legitimate target."
