Dcard Has Founded an AI Company! GNTC Specializes in Enterprise AI Agent Services, Launching Three New Products in the Second Half of the Year

Dcard CEO Lin Yu-Chin announced the launch of its corporate AI Agent business, “GNTC,” to help enterprises overcome pain points in adopting AI. Two products have already been released, and in the second half of the year, three more new products will be introduced, opening a second growth curve for Dcard through a dual-track approach.

Dcard establishes AI company GNTC

Taiwan’s well-known social forum Dcard officially announced yesterday (5/28) the establishment of its corporate AI Agent business GNTC, led personally by CEO Lin Yu-Chin.

Lin Yu-Chin revealed that the concept behind GNTC dates back to last year. Since March of last year, he has served as a frontline deployment engineer (FDE) within the company and explored AI applications.

The new company’s name, GNTC, comes from Agentic (agent-like): it takes the letter arrangement after removing the vowels, with the core mission being to help enterprises complete the key puzzle pieces on the path to an agentic transformation.

Lin Yu-Chin pointed out that when many companies adopt artificial intelligence (AI), they often face challenges such as a lack of governance mechanisms and barriers that are too high for use. The purpose of establishing GNTC is to provide support for toolsets, processes, and change management beyond technology itself—so that frontline employees can directly build agent tools that meet specific needs.

GNTC already has two products; three more will be added in the second half

At present, GNTC has launched two main core products:

  • EntryDesk: The core system that helps enterprises deploy AI Agents. Its main functions are to connect internal systems and centrally unify management of data permissions and workflows. To address corporate concerns about cybersecurity, EntryDesk offers an on-premises deployment option, allowing data to remain in the customer’s environment. It also supports flexible integration with large language models (LLMs), competing with enterprise deployment solutions from OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • VibeHost: A lightweight team deployment platform focused on solving internal collaboration pain points after AI-generated outputs. Users can quickly generate dedicated links via commands to share presentations, research reports, or web prototypes with their team.

Lin Yu-Chin also revealed that in the second half of 2026, GNTC plans to release more than 3 new products and will expand further cross-industry collaborations.

Dcard and GNTC will develop through dual tracks

With the launch of the new business, external audiences are also paying attention to the current status of Dcard’s core business.

In response during an interview with 《Entrepreneurial Small Meetup》, Lin Yu-Chin said he will adopt a dual-track development model, splitting his time evenly between the two companies. He emphasized that GNTC and Dcard have a complementary relationship—GNTC’s products were originally developed within Dcard’s workflows, and were later optimized to improve Dcard’s operational efficiency.

For example, within Dcard’s internal advertising proposal process, previously the sales team needed to spend 1 week retrieving data and preparing slide decks. After introducing the Agent system, they could deliver the work in the fastest timeframe of within 1 to 2 days, significantly improving efficiency.

In recent years, due to the earlier headquarters search controversy and the strong rise of Meta’s Threads, Dcard’s core business has also faced adjustments. In the past 1 year, it has gradually shut down its overseas expansion businesses in Malaysia and Japan, and the total global number of employees has fallen from 450 to 200.

Relying solely on the original community business no longer seems like a long-term plan. Lin Yu-Chin cited Google and Amazon as examples to explain the importance of building a second growth curve for enterprises. He also revealed that Dcard will next roll out multiple AI products for advertising clients, and welcomes exchanges with industry veterans from all fields.
