As I age, I increasingly feel that everything I have is borrowed.


Borrowed this physical body to experience a lifetime.
Borrowed this house to stay for a few decades.
The old rural hometown is becoming more dilapidated, and will eventually be completely returned to nature.
Once a village of over a thousand people, with factories, a township government, and coal mines, now fewer than 200 people.
The number continues to decline.
Everything will eventually disappear, leaving no trace.
