Mysterious Whale Burns 107 Bitcoins in a Single Transaction

The cryptocurrency market recently saw a shocking on-chain transaction. An unknown holder, within just a few minutes, transferred a total of 107 Bitcoins ($BTC) into one of the most well-known "Black Hole Addresses" (Burn Address) for Bitcoin through 5 transactions, equivalent to permanently destroying assets worth over $8.2 million to $8.5 million.

The address to which these Bitcoins were transferred is "1111111111111111111114oLvT2," one of the most iconic burn addresses in Bitcoin history. Since this address does not have a corresponding private key, any Bitcoins sent to it are theoretically unrecoverable.

On-chain data shows that these 5 transactions were not accidental but deliberately arranged. Each transaction set the same block height for the timelock and paid higher-than-normal miner fees, indicating that the sender clearly wanted the transactions to be confirmed quickly.
