Mempool, I’ve always thought of it as a queue beneath the surface: you sign and broadcast your transaction, and it’s basically waiting there for miners/packagers to pick it up. When it’s congested, it’s more like the tide can’t recede, and if you set a low gas fee, your transaction drifts back. Some people even use higher fees to “cut in line,” and you can only wait patiently or increase your fee to replace the same transaction; otherwise, you’re stuck holding the nonce, which also blocks subsequent operations… It’s quite frustrating.

Hardware wallets are still out of stock, and phishing links are everywhere. During these congested and anxious periods, it’s easier to slip up and make mistakes. Anyway, I now prefer to go slower, look at addresses a couple more times, and not rush to get those few minutes done and end up falling into a trap.
