Today, I’m once again bombarded in the group chat with screenshots of that kind of 「so-and-so stablecoin is about to de-peg」 chatter—paired with whatever reserve audit claims and regulatory shift “signals,” and my emotions get yanked away in an instant… To put it bluntly, attention is the position that gets picked off the easiest. The faster the hotspots rotate, the more I remind myself to watch less: first, write down clearly what I actually want to hold and how long I can hold it, and don’t make decisions when the information is at its loudest. If I really want to take action, that’s fine too—just give myself a cooling-off period, look again after the night; a lot of so-called “urgent” things are already silent the next day. No matter how wild the market gets, I still sleep. Anyway, on my end I stick to the same low-frequency rebalancing approach—slower, but it saves a lot in terms of mindset.
