Stop-loss really is a bit like a breakup, you know something's wrong but you stubbornly hold on, thinking "Just a little longer and it'll be fine," but the longer you drag, the more it hurts, and the funding rate/interest keeps nagging you. In the end, you're often passively swept out, and your mood is shattered. Recently, every time a cross-chain bridge encounters issues or an oracle malfunctions, everyone collectively "waits for confirmation." I understand that feeling of being frozen and not daring to act, but honestly, the market doesn't give you time for emotions. Now I prefer to accept the loss first and preserve the curve, even if there's a rebound later, I see it as paying tuition... (I'm this procrastinating type who always struggles with myself).
