Golden Finance reports that the American cryptocurrency advocacy organization, the Digital Chamber, launched a new website on Thursday to provide the public with a channel to express support to legislators, aiming to pass the Clarity Act into law this year.
Digital Chamber CEO Cody Carbone stated that Congress needs to realize that the American public expects them to take action on the Clarity Act. The bill was passed in the House of Representatives last year but has been shelved in the Senate for months due to issues such as stablecoin reward handling.
Currently, the controversy seems to have been resolved, but ethical and DeFi issues have resurfaced.
It is said that over 70 million Americans hold cryptocurrencies nationwide, and they need the protections provided by the bill. As the midterm elections approach, the crypto industry is increasing its political lobbying efforts.
