Last night, I was staring at the on-chain night session, and suddenly that same “cutting in line” feeling stabbed me again: for the same trade, when I clicked confirm, it was like lining up to buy late-night snacks—only for someone to zip past me on a little electric scooter. In the end, I got the more expensive portion… To put it plainly, MEV/ordering doesn’t affect whether someone “understands the technology”; it affects the certainty and mood of ordinary people every time they tap confirm.

What’s even more absurd is that the airdrop season now runs on a points system plus an anti-bot/anti-sybil/anti-fraud task platform. The momentum-chasing crowd is rolling like they’re punching a time card for work. Meanwhile, on-chain, someone else is using ordering to squeeze you to the back, and the sense of effort directly turns into exhaustion. Just a moment ago, I genuinely had the urge to quit and uninstall all my wallet plugins—out of sight, out of mind… but I held back. Maybe I still want to see whether the neon lights of this city are real lights—or just an illusion. For now, that’s it.
