Lately, as I watch DAO voting, I increasingly feel that: taking it slow is not a bad thing. Proposals are written in a flashy way, superficially saying "to incentivize the community," but upon closer inspection, it's just tightening the voting rights and distribution rights… some even deliberately block the time window, whoever is online gets to decide, and those who are a bit late are directly considered "agree." As someone who is emotionally sensitive, I feel a bit uncomfortable after reading this. Then I think about how everyone complains about miner/validator income and MEV causing unfair ordering, which actually has the same flavor: the rules are written there, but whoever sees it first and acts first, the power flows to them. Anyway, I now force myself to slow down before voting, first look at "who benefits, who has more say," or I might easily get carried away by the excitement.
