Today I got itchy again and went to check on-chain, and the more I looked, the more it felt like I was doing someone else’s job… You think you’ve caught a price-difference opportunity—then the moment you click in, slippage + a sandwich attack, and the profit instantly turns into someone else’s trading fees. To put it plainly, when it comes to arbitrage, most of the time you’re not the one making money—you’re the one paying bots, and then still comforting yourself with, “I’m participating in efficiency.” What’s even more annoying is that lately everyone has been watching the staking unlocks and the token unlock calendar every day, and the group chat is full of anxiety about sell pressure. I end up getting pulled along into wanting to run early too, and then, in a moment of impulse, I end up chasing the liquidity tail. Stay calm—after all, I’ll keep my hands in my pockets for now, and stop being fuel for the fire.
