Golden Finance reports that on May 28th, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Public Relations Department announced that control over the Strait of Hormuz remains fully enforced. In the past 24 hours, 26 merchant ships and oil tankers have passed through the Strait of Hormuz after obtaining Iranian permission and coordination. The statement pointed out that permission and coordination are required to pass through the Strait of Hormuz; taking other routes is considered disruptive behavior and will be dealt with according to regulations. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that last night, several ships attempted to tamper with and shut down navigation systems to illegally enter the Persian Gulf. After multiple radio warnings, the Navy forces of the Revolutionary Guard Corps intercepted two of them on the spot, while the remaining ships were forced to turn back. The statement showed that U.S. military forces in the region violated the ceasefire agreement by firing several missiles at an open area near Bandar Abbas Airport, causing no damage; in response, counterattacks were launched against the U.S. military bases responsible for the attack. If such behavior occurs again, the U.S. military will face severe responses.
