Today, I checked on-chain data again and hit a "lag," but don’t rush to blame the wallet/exchange. Many times, it’s the water pipes downstream sneezing: Subgraph/indexers need to scan the blocks first before feeding you the data. When encountering reorganization or slow nodes, it’s like suddenly spinning in circles; you refresh frantically, and RPC rate limiting treats you as a DDoS attack, returning empty or timeout responses, making it feel like “the data is on-chain, but I don’t have it.” Recently, AI agents automatically running interactions have also been quite lively, with a bunch of scripts hitting nodes simultaneously. I don’t care who’s pushing the narrative; anyway, security and stability are being tightened even more… It’s like waiting in line at a convenience store or catching a ride during rush hour—no use in getting anxious. I’ve now learned to be smarter: refresh less, switch to a different RPC, and wait for it to catch its breath before checking again.
