Lately I've been debating again: should I go on the mainnet to get the "orthodox" experience, or just stick to L2 to save gas? Honestly, regular people's budgets are limited, so my current strategy is to make small interactions on L2 first, ensure the process runs smoothly and isn't a trap; if I really need to use the mainnet (like for certain signatures/approvals that must be on the mainnet), I’ll accumulate a batch and do it all at once, to reduce back-and-forth. The experience on L2 is indeed smooth, but occasionally crossing chains can be exhausting, and when waiting for confirmation, I just want to sleep.

By the way, hardware wallets are out of stock again, and several people around me have started "making do with hot wallets," plus phishing links are still common… It’s really a side effect of the overtime season. Now I’d rather have fewer interactions and not click on unfamiliar links, take a moment to check the domain name and approval details before signing, go slower but feel more secure—after all, there’s only one life.
