Just saw the funding rate becoming extremely volatile again. In the group, everyone kept shouting “go with the trend,” and my cat literally crawled onto the keyboard and pressed the backspace key for me… To be blunt, at this moment I’d rather dodge the volatility first. I’d rather make a little less than get repeatedly stabbed back and forth and end up as trash from those needle-like swings. If I really have to take the other side, I’ll only dare to do it with a small position—waiting until those few big on-chain wallets start reducing their positions / transferring in reverse, and then I’ll consider jumping in.

Recently, AI agents and automated trading have been pretty hot too—the hype around the narratives is flying—but I care more about how they sign and how much permission they have. Don’t let it turn out that this “smart” thing ends up emptying your wallet for you. As for whether I trust data or intuition? I trust data more—at least the funding rate and positions won’t get “gentle” just because I’m in a good mood… Intuition, though, is easy to get you impulsive after you’ve been “healed” by cat pictures. That’s it for now.
