Being 31 is weird because you’re old enough to know you’re not invincible, but still young enough to feel like you’re behind.

Some friends are having kids. Some are buying homes. Some are climbing the corporate ladder. Some are changing careers. Some look like they have it all together, then you speak to them properly and realise almost everyone is quietly winging it.
Crypto makes that feeling even stranger because it compresses time. One year in this market can feel like ten years in real life. You can make more in a month than you used to make in a year, then spend the next six months questioning every decision you’ve ever made.
You can feel ahead financially and behind emotionally.
That’s the part I don’t think gets talked about enough. You can build freedom and still feel pressure. You can escape the normal path and still miss the simplicity of it. You can take a different route and still wonder whether you’re doing life properly.
There’s this strange middle stage where you’re not broke, not rich, not young, not old, not lost, but not fully settled either.
Just trying to build something real before life gets too heavy to keep taking big swings.
