Crypto World News reports that the United States has resumed its strike operations against Iran, causing shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz to be almost empty. On Thursday morning, due to concerns over a potential escalation of military conflict, commercial shipping companies remained highly alert, and no merchant ships were seen passing through the waterway. The shipping situation on Wednesday had already appeared sluggish, with Bloomberg data showing only six ships transiting in both directions that day, including a Turkish Suezmax oil tanker heading into the Persian Gulf to load cargo. Iran claimed that last night, multiple ships attempted to enter the Persian Gulf without permission, with some ships subsequently turning back and two being intercepted. Tehran stated that over the past 24 hours, a total of 26 ships have crossed the strait, possibly including some small coastal vessels.
