If I can only keep one habit by the end of the year: after every cross-chain/exchange/conversion and “getting” an airdrop, immediately toss the link to that transaction + a screenshot into the same folder (don’t ask—I spent last year digging through my browser history to the point of questioning my life). Now outside, people are tying ETF fund flows and U.S. stock risk appetite to interpretations of whether crypto is going up or down—it’s pretty lively to watch, but when it comes to tax filings, it’s not about vibes, it’s only about whether you have a solid evidence trail… Anyway, before I move a large amount across the bridge, I check the audits and monitoring first; after I do the crossing, I save the records first. Sure, I’m afraid—yes—but I don’t want to be even more afraid of what might happen by year-end.
