CryptoWorld News reports that Terawulf has announced the acquisition of the Muskie Data Campus located in the eastern Kentucky EastPark Industrial Park, with plans to build over 1 gigawatt of AI data center capacity. The company said that AI computing revenue is set to grow by 117% in the first quarter of 2026, exceeding Bitcoin mining revenue for the first time. Terawulf’s CEO Paul Prager emphasized that power and transmission infrastructure are the key constraints in the market, and AI companies are willing to pay a premium for capacity from former Bitcoin miners. This acquisition will provide Terawulf with an important growth pipeline, with an expected launch of 500 megawatts of AI data center capacity in the second half of 2028.
