Layer2 is really smooth to use now, just two taps to confirm, and the gas fees are comfortable, but I always feel like staying in a hotel: convenient, but if you lose your room key, you can't even get in. If I had to compromise, I usually move small daily transactions to L2, but for real money (long-term holdings, those with too many approvals), I still go back to the mainnet. It's more expensive, but at least I feel more at ease. Recently, everyone has been talking about staking unlocks, token unlock calendars, worrying about selling pressure every day. I actually care more about "who's in charge on the other side of the bridge, and how to exit if something goes wrong." I'm most afraid of losing control—not losing money, but being unable to withdraw it while the funds are still there. That really keeps me awake at night. For now, let's leave it at that and watch how things develop.
