Recently, social mining and point systems have been flooding the scene again. Honestly, I also enjoy exploiting them, but don’t turn yourself into a full-time check-in machine just for a badge… To put it plainly, points are just a way for projects to label you, not your true identity. The on-chain data is quite clear: a bunch of addresses come and go at fixed times every day, spending more on gas than they earn, and when the rules change, it’s all just busywork.

By the way, these past couple of days, before and after that mainstream public chain upgrade/maintenance, everyone in the group has been guessing whether the ecosystem will migrate. My feeling is: don’t jump to conclusions about migration, instead look at contract deployments, bridge traffic, and whether core addresses are really moving—those are much more reliable than just “hearing rumors.” Anyway, my current approach is pretty simple: only keep tasks that are easy to use, and don’t let points turn around and control my life… We’ll chat more next time.
